  Under rapidly advancing technology, consumption of batteries and electronics has gone sky-high. Ragging up the generation of battery waste and electronic waste (E-Waste), with increasing use of smartphones, laptops, electric vehicles, and household electronics has become a severe environmental concern. To meet this challenge, the Government of India has set the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework which requires producers, importers, and brand owners to manage their products' life-cycle responsibly.
